HVOB for Her Voice Over Boys is a Vienna-based electronic duo project.
The first snippets appeared on Soundcloud back in April 2012 ... and then things really kicked off: Oliver Koletzki was so impressed by the samples that he signed them his label "Stil vor Talent". An acclaimed debut at the Graz "Urban Art Forms" festival (Austria) was followed by success at the "Melt!" festival (Germany), where the pair were spotted and immediately contracted by German booking agency "Four Artists". HVOB released their first EP "Dogs" in October 2013, which has been followed by a debut album called HVOB ! We expect now a European debut tour.
Behind the sound of HVOB is Anna Müller: the 25-year-old from Vienna composes and produces the music. Final production of the tracks is done in collaboration with Paul Wallner in his studio. HVOB essentially perform live on
stage.
The "Berliner Zeitung has describ their music "An enchanting female voice combined with meditative beats", I could only be agree with them! In fact Dogs (Oliver Koletzki remix), is one of my favorite songs of 2012, maybe I will make a review one day.
