WhiteNoize are long time friends and veteran DJ's of San Francisco Chris Harnett & David Carvalho. They decided to team up after getting the itch to produce their own style of electronic music... After a few sessions in the studio WhiteNoize was born.
In just 2 years since they began, their accomplishments are quite impressive. They charted at #50 on the Beatport House Chart with their very first release 'Burnin' on Instereo Recordings and followed it up with a remix of Fatboy Slim's 'Weapon of Choice' on Skint Records which hit #26 on the House Chart and was also featured on Beatport's Top Ten must hear house tracks of the week. Their 3rd release on InStereo also garnered a ton of praise and their track 'Freak It' hit #1 and sat a top the DJ Download chart for a couple of weeks.
So far their music has been supported by the likes of DJ Dan, Umek, Donald Glaude, TJR, Stonebridge, Mustard Pimp, Treasure Fingers, and PHNTM to name a few… With releases ranging from House to Tech House and even Techno they have displayed their musical versatility well thus far and you can already catch them playing at major festivals and nightclubs.
Here they made a remix of a disco track release in 1979 '213 North 12th street'.
This track was originaly released by the house band of Salsoul records formed in 1974 in New York: The Salsoul Orchestra.
